Preparedness
There is always a reason to prepare. It can be to just have a good working pantry full of food, medical supplies or other household items in case of a normal day to day emergency. These day to day emergencies could look like a children getting sick and staying home for days or weeks. A new baby has arrived in the home and mom is out of commission for awhile.
Other emergencies can be on the scale of the disaster kind such as tornadoes, hurricanes, fires, floods, huge snow storms and even man made disasters.
These disasters require an additional amount of planning and preparedness. Preparedness has many faces but its important to begin and take that first step.
